ABOUT CHRISTEN

Christen Tassin holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University. A lifelong lover of books, she currently teaches creative writing to elementary and middle school students in New Jersey.
She has always loved bringing stories to life, first as an actress, singer and dancer. She booked her first Broadway role at the age of ten, as the original Baby June in Gypsy, starring Tyne Daly, and can be heard on the original Broadway cast recording. She played Young Cosette in Les Misérables and originated the role of Laura in the off-Broadway play Trophies. She was also featured as Clara in the Nutcracker in Radio City Music Hall's Christmas Spectacular for two seasons.
When she's not writing, Christen enjoys hiking and visiting as many museums as possible with her husband and their four children.
